sorry couldnt help commenting. what we are doing in copenhagen is not begging. Lets use the analogy of a car crash. when developed countries emitted large amounts of greenhouse gases, and caused global warming, they essentially crashed their car into ours. so now we are all suffering from the consequences (or damages). what we are doing is asking that these countries pay for the repair.
While you will find many difference of opinions regarding climate change, or, using my analogy, if that crash happened at all, and whose fault it really was, the negotiations are based on the acceptance of both the occurence of climate change and that developed countries caused this problem, although major developing countries are also beginning to be a major contributor now. so our people in copenhagen are not begging for money. Just a clarification, to Chhimi. i agree with BB on the salary hike issue.

We are begging with other LDCs for fair share in Copenhagen as you know very well.
will our parliamentarians be ever satisfied with their pay? I would dream to join in a office where I can decide and increase my own salary from time to time.
